and European Trademark Attorney
born in 1956, is a German and European patent attorney and also representative before the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). He has studied chemistry, especially food- and biochemistry, at the Technical University of Munich and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich up to the State Examination in food chemistry. After his studies he worked with the Institute for Toxicology and Biochemistry and obtained his Ph.D. at the Technical University of Munich with the thesis “Studies of the Induced Fatty Liver“. After training at a patent law firm, the German Patent Office, the Federal Patent Court and the Regional Superior Court of Munich he qualified as a German Patent Attorney and a European Patent Attorney.
He practised as a German and European Patent Attorney in the fields of organic and inorganic chemistry, in particular pharmacology, biochemistry, food, polymer and petro chemistry, sugar technology, glass technology and synthetic fibres, as well as in the trademark field. He is member of the Institute of Patent Attorneys admitted at the European Patent Office, the Board of German Patent Attorneys and FICPI.
